Upcoming Concerts:
 On May 15 at 8 pm St.Teresa Organist and Music Director, Greg Scime, will present a concert of organ music in the Church with compositions by Bach, Franck, Widor and John Philip Sousa. This will be a free concert.

On May 25th in Memorial Hall at 6 pm, Amanda Grafton will present a concert of vocal music. Proceeds from the concert will go towards an education fund to benefit lower income students attending parochial schools. Amanda is past winner of the Maplewood Glee Club vocal competition and attends Manhattan School of Music. The concert will feature various styles of vocal music and commentary on the music.

Adult Faith Formation Videos

Featuring Fr. Andrew Apostoli, Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen, Scott Hahn and more….Each month we will journey with a nationally recognized Catholic speaker as they teach us how to learn, live, and love the faith. There will be 12 classes twice a month as follows beginning at 7:30 pm.January 13 & 27, February 17 & 24, March 9 & 23, April 13 & 27, May 11& 18, June 8 & 22Cost:  $5 per class – walk-ins welcome OR $50 prepaid for the entire series.  Make your check payable to “St. Teresa of Avila”, and note in the memo line “Catholic Voices Series”.  Checks can be mailed to attn: Vinny Candela, St. Teresas Church, 306 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ  07901.  Please give us your phone number and email so we can communicate with you.

Homebound Ministry
St. Teresa’s Homebound Ministry is available for people who have difficulties with mobility outside of their home, who are convalescing or who are in nursing homes. We provide parishioners with social visits, the Parish weekly Bulletin, small forms of assistance and we can make arrangements for individuals to receive Holy Communion at home. If you would like to have someone from the Ministry visit you or know someone who would like to have someone visit them, please call the Rectory at 908 277 3700 and leave your name and phone number with the receptionist and a member of the Ministry will contact you.
