Catechetical Sunday and Ministry Day
You are cordially invited to Catechetical Sunday on Sunday, September 19, 2010 on the Church Plaza from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon. Catechatical Sunday is the official Kick Off for our Religious Education program for the year. This year the event will also include a Ministry Day/Open House Pancake Breakfast (Coffee, tea, milk, OJ, pancakes, sausage) – $5.00/pp. All are welcome!

 

Holy Ground
The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry invites you to Holy Ground, a time of Eucharistic Adoration that includes Evening Prayer of the Church to the sounds of contemporary Christian music. Holy Ground will be held on the last Saturday of every month at 7:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Church Chapel at the Archdiocesan Retreat Center in Kearny, NJ. The first Holy Ground evening will begin on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 7:30 PM. All ages are welcome! Please join us in prayer.

 

Moses and the Torah - Catholic Community Bible Study

Make new friends while committing a few hours a week to studying God’s Word. You don’t need any background.  All the answers are in the Bible and Catechism. The study also includes monthly socials and DVD talks by Bible scholars.
